April 25 - Wild Roses

This class is sold out. To be placed on the waiting list, please call 510.204.9801.

Simple yet elegant, the wild rose and single-petal varieties have many ardent admirers. A spray of small wild roses will add a delicate note to arrangements of larger, bolder blooms. Likewise, they are simply charming on their own in a diminutive bud vase, or as an elegant garnish on a wrapped gift. Using Castle in the Air’s selection of velvety doublette crepe, you’ll make an ombre spectrum of petals in popular shades of subtle pink and peach. Using templates and supplies provided by Lynn Dolan, you will learn to craft buds, blossoms, and the uniquely delicate heads of the wild varieties of rose. Your finished sprays will look like they came straight from a country lane or Old World garden.
