Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sense triggers a second automatic, involuntary experience in a second sense: from smells to colors, music to shapes, letters to personalities, words to tastes, and everything in between, there is so much to explore.

Chromesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which heard sounds automatically and involuntarily evoke an experience of color. This workshop provides attendees a technique to mimic chromesthesia with watercolor and ink. We will listen to music and paint. During the workshop, we will focus on one particular technique and multiple pieces of music that you can develop further at home. Come join us and learn how to see music!
