June 17 - Kingston the Needle Felted Kiwi

115.00

Kingston seems a fitting name for this unusual New Zealand flightless bird in his regal crown and cape. In this all-day class, you will learn the basics of needlefelting wool over a cotton-wrapped wire armature. You will also be taught the process of making bird feet, which can be used to create many more feathered friends. Kingston’s head will be adorned with a crown of your making, and Denise will provide the glass eyes to bring your kiwi to life. The sitting kiwi is roughly six inches tall.
