July 18 - Dresden Ouroboros

125.00

John McRae has made a name for himself creating jewelry and ornaments from Dresden paper trim, the golden foil-coated paper that Castle in the Air imports from Germany. In this class, John will guide you through the process of using Dresden to create the mysterious mythical creature known as the ouroboros. Historically depicted either as a snake or a dragon eating its own tail, the ouroboros has remained a mesmerizing symbol throughout the centuries. Yours will have red amber eyes that John has cut especially for this class. You will also broaden your crafting horizons as John teaches you to see the endless possibilities in what you thought were just some shiny strips of paper!
