April 2 - Pysanky - Ukrainian Easter Eggs

April 2 - Pysanky - Ukrainian Easter Eggs

115.00

Pysanky is a traditional Ukrainian method for decorating eggs. Richly colored eggs with intricate designs are created using melted beeswax, and a stylus known as a kistka. The finished eggs are similar to dyed Easter eggs you've seen, but with much more intense colors and more detailed designs. In this class you will create your own beautiful pysanka (using and emptied chicken eggshell) and will take home materials that will allow you to make more pysanky on your own. No prior experience is needed.
